Story Behind RakuNest

Empowerment. This is in the DNA of Rakuten.

RakuNest was built to empower all companies, no matter their size, to be successful in Silicon Valley. There are many co-working spaces out there, but we believe we are unique based on our corporate values.

As a Japanese company, not having originated in Silicon Valley, Rakuten started to build operations in this area in 2015. Over the years, we have successfully increased our capacity and gained many experience through our activities in our B2C business, B2B business, investments, and acquisitions.

Now it's time for us to pay it forward. We want to empower and help any company that wants to start their journey in the Silicon Valley.

There are infinite possibilities in Silicon Valley – you can engage in partnerships, invest, M&A, start a new business, and so much more.

But if you are a newcomer to the Silicon Valley, you can easily get lost if you don’t know where to start. That is where RakuNest plans to add deliver value.

We want to support companies by helping them to define what they want to do in Silicon Valley through mentoring, connecting, and having opens discussions.
